2009
This year, Little Kids Rock nearly doubled its enrollment
thanks to our generous donors, and we raised an
unprecedented $1.6 million to restore and revitalize music
education in the public schools. As a result, over 42,000
kids are now rocking out, and we expect to enroll at least
another 25,000 kids in the current school year. This makes
Little Kids Rock one of the leading free instrumental music
education programs available to kids in public schools.
To celebrate, we are currently in the planning stages of a
series of special invitationonly events in each of the
Little Kids Rock cities, plus two new locations. Helping us
“raise the roof” on the number of free instruments and
lessons we can give to kids, a whole host of rockers are
offering their time and talent to appear at these events as
an incentive to help us raise the $1.8 Million needed in
2010 to reach even more kids in more schools.
MUSIC TRANSFORMS LIVES
In response to the growing loss of public school music
programs, Little Kids Rock exists to provide every child
with music education. It is the only national, schoolbased
rock music program in the US public school system. Our
teachers already work in district schools and donate their
time to teach Little Kids Rock. We prepare them and support
their students with free lessons, videos, games, and helpful
downloads which are all available on our website. Plus we
donate free instruments.
Transform a kid’s life – your donation of $60 or more
can place an instrument into the hands of a child.
Go behind the velvet rope – your donation of $2,500
or more places you on the list for our invitation-only
events and gives you first option for VIP seating at our
Right To Rock Celebration. How cool is that?
At a time when music programs for kids are being cut at an
alarming rate, Little Kids Rock is bringing the gift of
music education to more children than ever before. Please
take a moment to visit us at

securely make a donation with a credit card and for notes on
the ways your gift can help.
Thank you for your thoughtful consideration and your
generous support!
