ABOUT COFFEEHOUSETOUR: CoffeeHouseTour.com began living its dream within the quaint, artistic and multi-cultural ambiance of the east coast's Wilmington, NC music scene. The reason for the creation of this valuable resource started as a simple one...I love good Java, and love making and listening to good music! I also enjoy doing my part to keep live music thriving and nurtured in as many places as possible. And, nothing beats an intimate atmosphere for laid back music stylings. And, coffee shops just seem to be the mainstay love for aspiring songwriters and folk music artists. Even full bands are enjoying a vast appetite of eclectic bean grinding atmospheres. We know virtually all songwriters start out in hometown style java huts, so you never know who you may meet, and through the years music and coffee/tea houses have just remained a cohesive mix for those who treasure the energy found in a venue that supports its local and traveling arts scene. I just love it!
To share that love, our mission is to create and maintain the most comprehensive resource and tour guide for a musician as possible as well as support the venues that welcome artists with open arms and plenty of tour fuel :)

In addition to being the Founder, and Editor of CoffeeHouseTour.com, Annette is a freelance sales Copywriter and Web Resource Developer with her own business; Awesome Webs. She also enjoys duties as a part time event planner and booking and music entertainment manager for several local festivals. She holds the position of Editor with the oldest and largest online community for Women in Music, www.GoGirlsMusic.com. and is the SC and NC Chapter Coordinator for the organization. She organizes and promotes the Wilmington, NC based and successful AWEsome 'Live Performance' Songwriting Competition now in it's 11th year. She plans to take her songwriting competition national in the near future as a mail order competition still keeping it's good cause ground. She is the owner of A. About Jake Melnyk - Booking Manager
Jake Melnyk is an independent singer-songwriter based in Wilmington, NC. Currently a senior majoring in Marine Biology and specializing in high school teaching, Jake has been working as an assistant, and booking manager for AWarnerEntertainment and CoffeeHouseTour.com for the past two years. WilmingtonNCmusic.com calls Jakes songwriting inspirational music to please any listener. Jake travels throughout the region several times a year playing shows and loves to connect with friends and strangers alike through his music. Often present in the local music circuit of Wilmington, he plays at coffee shops and bars, on campus events, as well as local and regional festivals. Jake also embraces a spiritual side by working as a camp counselor and youth musician during the summers.
