* You must provide us with a valid email address to contact you when your review is posted. We will not look for it.

* Send ONLY CD and one page bio. (include SWAG if you wish :) But don't waste your money on full press kits for us. We are just interested in the music and a 'lil about you and if sending a second or further release..feel free to send us a copy of your first one so we can compare. :) Please remove wrapping from CD.

* We NOW review EPK's. All reviews of EPK will be marked as such, and we require that you have a commercially released product coinciding with the EPK. NO BURNED DEMOS. Please remove the wrapping from your CD's. Include track numbers and song titles, and contact info on the CD.

* We only review commercially released CD's. In other words...no demos.

* We require that you have a website or at least an EPK (electronic press kit) to link to for more information on you for our readers...and on that website or other page, we would like to have a copy of your CD cover to go fetch for our review page. 100 x 100 px.

* You must be an act that will actually perform in coffee shops. Many of our venues may look for entertainment to book going by your schedules in the area.

FAQ

Q: How can I update my venue/musician/resource listing?

A: If the changes are minor, please email us and we'll take care of it. If your are relocating, or changing some drastic info about your music program...resubmit your info and let us know in the NOTES section of the form that this is an update.

Q: How can I keep in touch with the updates and general site information?

A: Currently we have a list group you can join to stay informed! The list group is our own built in mailing list, and list members can post, advertise coffeehouse gigs, and discuss other issues related to the industry. You may join the list by clicking on this link: Join List

Q: What type of links are acceptable?

A: Venue: if you are a Coffee/Tea house/Listening Room atmosphere that promotes live music, you may enter all the information on the form and your listing will be added to the database after approval. All venues MUST have an email address or viable contact information.

Musician: if you are a performer who books in these type places you may enter a link only with a short description of your act. This is not a dumping ground for all musicians to advertise your links. Venues may attempt to conduct bookings off of the links provided. You MUST be book-able and have an interest in coffee house style venues to enter your listing. Musicians can enter their favorite venues as well, but we do prefer that the listings be as comprehensive as possible with info provided.

Resource: if you are a music/venue listing or promotional resource/information type site..you may enter your link and a short description. All resource sites will be visited to approve the appropriateness of the listing. If you are a resource site that only sells product or services for a profit, please email us to discuss advertising options.

Q: How can I update my musician or resource listing?

A: Resubmit your information as you did the first time through the database and tell us in the NOTES section of the form fields that this is an update.

Q: How can I help promote this site.

A: You mean besides eating, sleeping and breathing us? Well...you can print our .pdf poster 8x10 or Table card and post it in your area music stores, coffee shops and town public bulletin boards, Add our link to your email signatures, discussion forum profiles, and websites, Carry our table cards or posters to your gigs for the merchandise table, Pass on our link to all your resource sites and let us know if they have us posted so we can return the favor, announce our website at your gigs on the microphone, tell people, tell venues and never stop talking about www.coffeehousetour.com! To print our posters you will need to get Adobe Acrobat Reader. :) You can also right click on the banner at the bottom right of this page and include it on your sites! Q: What do all the donations do?

A: Donations are used to purchase swag for promotions, pay writers, sponsor national tours, events, give-aways, support our web operations and general operating expenses. It helps keep us from having to charge money for access to our features. So please help us on your own periodically.
